It's part of the Bill of Rights. What is a right? Where do our rights come from? Are they gifts from the government? Which other amendments shall we regulate while we're at it? Anyway, I assume nothing, expect the worse, and am seldom disappointed. But I know what is and isn't. And a right isn't something you are answerable to anyone for.
There are unalienable rights that come from God. Other rights are commonly decided on, and codified. The Constitution was written by men, not God.
And how many times do you have to be told that other amendments ARE regulated--see the 1st amendment re child porno, libel, inciting riots etc.
Here's a Constitutional question for you: who presides over the impeachment trial of the Vice President?
Number one who gives a rats behind about what Australia did. This is America with entirely different demographics and laws. There is no credible evidence that the Australian buy back program actually worked.
Nope. Articles of Confederation came first. And the Constitution is vastly different from that I am sure you will agree.
If you read the DOI, there is not a single thought therein that would be out of accord with the colonies establishing a monarchy. It declared independence and listed our grievances against GIII, nothing about any form of government.
