    It could have been a nightmare, what if another gun carrying advocate saw this guy and started shooting?

    I don't agree with what he did - but this is pure speculation and scare-mongering. It is easily countered with the equally unlikely speculation of "what if another Adam Lanza invaded the JC Penney and this guy became a hero". Both are highly speculative and equally unlikely scenarios that serve no constructive purpose.

    Besides the gun was not in his hands at the time so I do not see a reason for anyone to start shooting.
