I have about as much sympathy for them as I do Phil Mickleson and his tax concerns. We borrow 40 cents on the dollar, my taxes go up and things keep getting more and more expensive for my family as each week goes by.

No, because Roots was a fictionalized albeit plagerized account and Harriet Beecher Stowe, who wrote Uncle Tom's Cabin, never visited the South. There are plenty of actual historical books on the subject that one can study, eliminating the need to rely on imagination.
