Default Flacco, Ryan seek fans' respect

Ryan may get more attention and respect than Joe but in the grand scheme of things he is overlooked compared to Cam Newton, RGIII and other young QBs.

when you compare what Joe has done in his first 5 years, ryan isn't even in the same league......

well, no one is really since joe has several nnfl records for a qb's 1st 5 seasons and the second most wins (might be first) in the past 5 years .....

They're both really good QBs who don't need the fans' respect at this point in their careers. Ryan's playoff failures aren't all on him. Flacco coming up short of the Superbowl so far isn't all on him. It's a team sport. Whether we think Flacco is better than Ryan makes for nice debate, but it doesn't really matter. I have my own take, won't rehash it. They play in different conferences, different venues, different schedules, and different offenses. Neither one is going to win or lose a game on their own without decent protection, big plays from his teammates, and a defense that can make a few key stops.
