Default Drunk City Cop Arrested For Gun Crime

    http://www.baltimoresun.com/news/mar...,4435519.story

Wow. Bad week for the Baltimore City boys in blue. What a stupid drunken idiot.

"The complainant told 911 that an intoxicated off-duty city officer was being very belligerent and kept saying that he had a gun," the county report said. Baltimore County police said that at the time the tavern was closing, an employee took car keys from the man, who was thought to be too intoxicated to drive. The man had exited the bar through its back door before Baltimore County police officers arrived.

The police report said officers found the suspect in a parking lot at Delaware and Pennsylvania avenues. "Two male victims then approached officers and told them that the suspect had pointed a gun at them," the report said. County officers found a holstered Glock 22 handgun on the suspect. He was then arrested. The county officers said he was identified "as an off-duty Baltimore City police officer and the firearm was his departmentally-issued handgun
    ."

Does the name Gahiji Tshamba not ring a bell with this officer?

    This guy was much drunker.

My guess is that there were indicators that this dude was a bad cop and they were ignored.

Is this the result of BPD lowering standards for its recruits?

The information from this post was deleted. It showed charges from a different person with a similar name. The real officer in question have different charges which were of course not prosecuted in 2010. Involving alcohol and reckless behavior.

Kind of makes you wonder how many times he showed and badge and walked away behind the thin blue line.

OMG!! Damn!! THIS is who BPD is hiring?!?! It's no wonder the citizens are terrified of the city's police force...with the criminals policing the criminals who's protecting the rest of us??

Funny how people had time to laugh and time to act superior but no time to see that the officer did have previous arrests for similar behavior.

No one here is trying to excuse the officer or what he is accused of doing. But it is also very unfair to publicly post that he has previously been arrested for theft and a CDS violation when ~ in fact ~ he was not when the posted record was for someone else.

He has a documented history of being arrested for dangerous drunken behavior.

I was mistaken on the drug and theft charges.
