5 accidental shootings at 3 gun shows today!

One involved the old "forgot and left one in the chamber" mistake.

Two bystanders were hit by shotgun pellets and taken to a hospital. A retired deputy sheriff suffered a slight hand injury.
Meanwhile, authorities in Ohio said a gun dealer in Medina was checking out a semi-automatic handgun he had bought when he accidentally pulled the trigger, injuring his friend. The gun's magazine had been removed from the firearm but one round remained in the chamber, police said.

Police Chief Pat Berarducci said it appears the bullet struck the floor and the man was wounded in the arm and leg. Berarducci said the man was taken by helicopter to a Cleveland hospital. His condition was not immediately known.

Not to make light, but would this fall under the heading of "innocent" victims of guns?

I only mention it because some gun proponents were making the distinction between innocents, and non-innocent victims.

Actually there were only 3 shootings involving 4 victims and 1 volunteer. The guy with the shotgun was obviously an idiot. Not sure what the guy's story was that shot himself loading his own gun. That's not the easiest thing in the world to do. Fortunately, he only shot himself. The shooting involving the dealer was inexcusable. He should have known better.
