Default 15-year-old arrested after New Mexico shooting; 5 dead

    Near Albuquerque

Sheriff's investigators combed through what one called a "horrific" crime scene Sunday after the shooting deaths of five people, three of them children, at a home outside Albuquerque, New Mexico. A well-known local pastor and four of his relatives were among the victims, according to those who knew him.

Each victim was shot multiple times, said Lt. Sid Covington of the Bernalillo County Sheriff's Department, and one of the weapons used was what he described as an assault rifle. Sheriff Dan Houston said a 15-year-old boy, who "may be a family member," was charged with two counts of murder and three counts of child abuse resulting in death.

    From the Albuquerque Journal

It was a “horrific” crime scene that confronted deputies Saturday night: Calvary church Pastor Greg Griego; his wife, Sarah; and their three youngest children dead — fatally shot multiple times with a “military-style” assault rifle and other weapons — at their South Valley home.

The suspect in custody is the couple’s 15-year-old son, Nehemiah Griego, who neighbors said often wore “nothing but camouflage” and wanted to be in the army.

    Calamari--

Do you really think the NRA support children shooting up their families?

It's the price of "Freedom," apparently.

    ...

Griego (the father ~ C) reportedly served in Desert Storm, and Nehemiah told neighbors he wanted to be a soldier. He always wore army clothing and camouflage, but he wasn’t allowed to play violent video games, according to one neighbor, since the boy’s parents didn’t allow anything “dirty or violent” and limited TV watching.
I can see that the press went right for the video games scapegoat and turned up empty.

    Suspect apparently planned more mayhem.

The suspect in custody is the couple’s 15-year-old son, Nehemiah Griego, who authorities believe shot and killed his mother, young brother and two young sisters about 1 a.m. Saturday, and then lay in wait for five hours before ambushing his father when he came home. The Journal also has learned that authorities believe Nehemiah then put several loaded weapons, including the assault rifle, in the family van with the plan to drive to the nearest Walmart, gun down more people and eventually die in a shootout with police.

But Nehemiah called a friend first, who talked him into meeting at Calvary church, where Nehemiah’s father had been a pastor. It was apparently a Calvary church security officer who contacted 911 about the slayings at the Griego home late Saturday.
Authorities believe the guns were obtained from the family home, where they were not secured. The couple had ten children, although only three (plus the suspect) were home at the time.

Sadly, more innocents killed by guns.

    The beat continues, unabated.

Whether it's Newtown or Albuquerque, too many irresponsible gun owners leaving their guns where other family members can get them.

But given recent (accidental) shootings at gun shows, by gun owners, I am not surprised at all.

To quote Forest Gump's mom: "Stupid is, is stupid does" ; or better yet, Mathew 26:52 - those who live by the sword shall surely perish by the sword.

What kind of moronic parents would keep unsecured guns in a house full of kids? Unbelievable.

Griego said he then got an AR-15 rifle from his parent's closet and waited in a bathroom until his father arrived home at about 5 a.m. He then shot his father multiple times, killing him.

Officers said Griego told them he then reloaded the weapons so he could drive to a populated area to murder more people.

Griego said he wanted to shoot people at random and eventually be killed while exchanging fire with law enforcement.
And now you see how this stuff feeds back on itself.

It disgusts me that these shootings please you so much. It makes you happy that you can push your agenda. You are a sick person.

Does making things up about me act as some sort of shield to you? Does it make you feel better for not being able to address what you quoted in any meaningful way?
