No problem Mom. It seems Soulflower and ms maggie don't quite understand what a family gathering is. It's not a golf outing or a state dinner.

"When Obama kicked off his first presidential campaign in February 2007, he vowed to di*min*ish the power of spe*cial in*ter*ests in Wash*ing*ton. Yet he began awarding spoils to super donors once he took office — just like past presidents, records show."

Because, in truth, there is little difference between him and those before him.

I still don't see why it matters.

Most people like to keep their personal lives and professional lives at arms length.

Obama has been very successful at advancing his agendas in spite of the obstruction from republicans

Because Presidents of the United States of America should have free reign to advance their agendas.

We have, but being a little thick, you just don't seem to grasp the problem with Obama's lack of social necessity in Washington, DC. with other groups that aren't a financial asset to him.

And these folks who are financial assets to him, no family dinners either. Oh no......Imagine how tickled they'd be to tie on the feedbag at Cracker Barrel or Ihop with the First Family.

That certainly explains the divide in Washington. And if you know what his agenda is please let the rest of us know.

Why defend them? We have a ludicrous system of elections that necessitates raising huge sums of money. A system the idiot Roberts SC has further corrupted. I support campaign finance reform. Do you? Because if you don't, you have no complaint. People raise a lot of money for candidates and there's quid pro quo. Fix the system. If you don't, don't complain about it. You know what they day about sausage making.
