I actually yearn for the days when the press mainly interviewed COACHES, and not PLAYERS.
did Branch even play yesterday? oh wait, 2 catches for 18...way to show up...got no problem with what Suggs did...
I agree with Branch in some regards. You don't see Ray Lewis having nothing but respect for his opponents. That was evident when Peyton Manning came up to him after the playoff game in Denver.
That being said, you might not get these type of sound bites and quotes if these guys didn't have microphones stuck in their faces right after the battle. Suggs changed his tune a little bit after he had a few minutes to cool down. I still think he can learn a thing or two from the guy playing next to him on defense.

Suggs does not have a filter. As the saying goes, "if it comes up, it comes out" when it comes to him.
Refreshing - often. Frustrating - often!
The Pats players get the fallout from that DB head coach of theirs. Bill is a sore loser with no class.
Shannon Sharpe called it.
F the Patriots and their fans. I'm all in for what Suggs said.
The difference between between Suggs and The Pats are that Suggs is a doer, and the Pats and their fans are talkers.
Talkers are worried about what they say and what is said...doers are worried about the actions they and other do.
Notice Suggs isn't apologizing? That's because he meant it, and he was right.
Agree with Suggs all u want. Dislike Belichik all u want (that's easy to do). That's fine. But let's not paint the New England Patriots as anything less than a model organization.
I in particular would have liked it if Suggs said nothing like he did. To beat a team is one thing. He went rubbing their face in it. Perhaps that's what the Patsies did last year. I don't know. But there are ways to rejoice which don't include someone else's pain. As we suffered extreme disappointment and preferred not to be taunted I'm sure they would have preferred the same. Bestowing dignity would have been classy. Suggs missed the opportunity. IMO
