I don't know what changed Harbaugh's mind at the end of the season but I'm glad it did because I don't think we'd be where we're at without the change.
If McKinnie was in the doghouse and now is out, that would seem to indicate that Harbaugh set some conditions...conditions which McKinnie met eventually. The news reports say that he was not practicing well enough, but he changed that in November and December.

Yes, Harbaugh has a doghouse, but players can earn their way out apparently.

I wonder if the changes involving McKinnie and Cameron came from above Harbaugh. Maybe we'll find out or maybe we won't but in the end it doesn't matter because we're all one team. Whoever's idea it was it might result in a Lombardi.

What everyone is forgetting is this: Mike Preston is the only Balltimore Sun staff member to pick the Ravens to win in Denver and in Foxboro.

He deserves all sorts of credits for that!!!!!

I'm sure 6' 8", 350 lbs had something to do with it and the performance of the line. A change was needed. Thank God he saw the light.

It's hilarious to me how often his work contains spelling and/or grammar errors. He's a journalist for a newspaper, it's beyond what I'd find acceptable. He's not some knucklehead posting to a message board.

It was at its worst when he first got in to the "blog" world on the site. Almost EVERY single time he posted something, there was some issue with it. Eventually they started having Ron Fritz post (re-post) for him, obviously to ensure SOME amount of editing was done before it hit the screen.

I'm close to someone who used to be his boss, and the professional opinion of those around him is the same as most of ours. They ALL know he takes TREMENDOUS liberty with facts to make his points. It's a shame really. But it's what The Sun has become over the years...

preston is a fat mouthed blabber who likes to hear himself , and is not a ravens fan . The crowd at the M&T Stadium for the denver game was an embarrassment to our tradition in baltimore . They were quick to ridicule and boo Flacco for his errant throw , and 1/3 of these priviledged few left in the 3rd quarter . A few days later , preston was on a televised Rave review , and echoed the sentiments of his fairweather fan buddies , and claimed that the rave " quit " . You will recall that our defense was crippled that day , and our subs had to fill in . They played their hearts out , swarmed to the ball and laid punishing blows on the broncs . Many of us saw that and agreed that our guys had accrued valuable live combat experience that would be of benefit when the team healed and the super bowl wars began . The scrubs were not of prime talent like the wounded starters , but they played like Ravens , and never quit !!!! Preston should join his fellow media idiot Anita Mars , and get his piehole outta town .
