Also a debatable viewpoint of why Brady threw the ball on 4th-and-4 late in the game, instead of trying to run for the first down when he appeared to have room. He questions whether or not Brady was worried about retribution for his "cleat-first kick slide" and knew the Ravens defense was livid about it from earlier.
Frankly, on replay you see him glance back as he starts to roll left, to see Suggs and McPhee coming from behind... and he saw Ngata coming at an angle in front of him. Whether he could have made it or not, who knows. But I'd guess the white jerseys coming from multiple angles had more to do with it, and his own doubt of whether he'd get there, than any worry about retaliation.
