Default Police: 3 Dead in Boulder City, Nev Killings

Another apparent good guy with a gun (allegedly) gone bad. When will the killiing end.

"A Metro Police lieutenant shot his wife and son to death Monday morning, police sources confirmed. Henderson Police spokesman Keith Paul said 911 dispatchers received a call from a 52-year-old man who told them he had just killed his 46-year-old wife and young son and he was going to set his house on fire."

"The slain wife was a former Metro police officer, sources said. The man also told dispatchers he would shoot any police officer who tried to stop him, Paul said."

A new reality tv show is coming called "Angry America." Americans are not happy campers these days.

The seemingly more frequent killings is not new, just under reported by major news medias. Needless deaths by guns happens every day.

    OK, your absolutely right.

And as this example illustrates, cops should be the first to give up lethal weapons.

    Or spouses.

    Or spouses with lethal weapons.

Default Update; Cop Shot Wife, 5-Year-Old Son in Head, Before Killing Himself

How a man can cowardly murder his entire family is beyond my understanding, when all he had to do was eliminate himself. An officers burial he doesn't deserve.

"As police surrounded the home, Hans Walters, 52, an off-duty lieutenant with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, set fire to the house and then fatally shot himself, according to accounts from the coroner and the Henderson Police Department, which is leading the investigation."

"His wife, who went by her middle name, Michelle, had been employed by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department as a patrol officer from January 1991 until August 2004, according a police spokesman."

No, it is like shark attacks. Once they are considered news and every attack becomes front page news. Shark attacks happen at the same frequency yet the public thinks that the rate has increased because every attack is suddenly front page news.

Except that sensationalizing shark attacks may decease risk (people avoid the water) while sensationalizing crazy people might make other nuts decide to act out.
