Default Why does Doss continue to get playing time?

The guy can't catch a ball if its handed to him. He drops everything that is thrown his way. We have two other young receivers that deserve a shot.

Can't say I disagree. He's been a little dissapointing the past few games.

    Whatever happened to Tommy Streeter?

    Edit - Nevermind...

    Baltimore Ravens

Streeter was drafted to the Baltimore Ravens in the sixth round, 198th Overall, of the 2012 NFL Draft. On August 31, 2012, He was placed on Injured Reserve because of a foot injury.[3]

Thompson has shown some promise. Why not him? Even LaQuan (Sp?) Williams has shown some flash now and then.

LaQuan is also on IR and Thompson hasn't been active sincy the Cincy game Week 17.

The reason why Doss continues to play is because he was a draft pick. Draft picks get every chance to succeed. It just the politics part of the game.

Doss was hand picked by Flacco during the draft. Especially now Joe will have a say as to when Doss is tossed

Curious why you didn't include Ed Dickson in this discussion.

At least Dickson is a good blocker on running plays, Doss can't even do that.

Its does seem like when Doss's number is called it is a wasted play.

Either drops the ball or can't get separation.

Ravens can't afford any wasted plays against the niners.

Yeah. I was a big Doss supporter at first, but not any more. Heck...even David Reed does more than Doss; at least he contributes on STs.

Do you really think this is true?
    Really?
If he doesn't perform, or as the players say "if it's not on the tape", then
Flacco could lobby for years and it wouldn't make any difference.
Doss' future is up to Doss.
