According to what is known about the night of the attacks, the CIA and WH didn't see the entire attack in real time.



Obviously, Clinton lost contact with Stevens at some point and wasn't in contact with him the entire time. The CIA team that rescued the Americans from the consulate couldn't find Stevens so they left the consulate without him. He ended up being rescued by Libyans and died in a Libyan hospital.

The communication's expert assigned to Benghazi was on the internet just prior to the attack and was the first to send out a warning so please don't tell me Clinton lost contact with Stevens at some point.

And according to Ms. Lamb's testimony she and other's were watched the attack via live feed. I'm inclined to believe Ms. Lamb over the CIA.

Stevens got separated from the rest of the Americans at the consulate and the CIA rescue team couldn't find him. So obviously, no one was in contact with him at some point after the attack started.

Panetta stated a drone arrived over the annex and fighting was going on. When the drone arrived is most likely when Lamb was able to watch in "almost real-time." Almost real time because streaming via satellite is delayed.

Oh yes, the CIA timeline, the 'secret annex' that isn't secret. It seems silly to put all of your faith into the CIA when they can't exactly disclose everything.

Nor do I. Some Vietnam vets were not treated well after serving. So where the idea that they think they are better then others boggles my mind.

As for MY 20+ years working with/around Officers in the O3 O4 and O5 ranks having that attitude I see no way you could make a comment on my experience.

If you have evidence that they're lying about it, present it. Otherwise, there's no point in speculating...

soulflower it is you that needs evidence. What facts do you have that are not from the CIA? We can't rely on the CIA since as you admitted we don't know their whole truth (nor should we).

Right. But I'm not talking about after the attack started. I'm talking about the time Stevens left the hotel to go to the diplomatic facility to meet with the Turkish Ambassador.

On this thread, I will speak about Hillary only since that is the topic. I didn't really have a problem with her until she testified this week, and to be honest, I still have to read more before I fully form an opinion.

Business has kept me from any TV coverage, so I am going off of articles I'm reading. I had expected Hillary (my opinion) to back up those in her department OR Obama. I knew it couldn't be both.

If Hillary is avoiding questions, I think that's wrong if it's simply to clarify a point. If it's behind closed doors, let them hash it out there and learn what is available to them. I'd like to hear that the matter has been settled; I don't need the details.

I've seen 911 brought up a few times here. I hope everyone remembers Bill Clinton testifying behind closed doors.

One question for you: do you believe that the CIA tells us the whole truth such as with the timeline? I just can't buy that. Anything we can't know about would not be included on a timeline.
