"At an Oct. 25 Pentagon press briefing, a reporter noted that “there was, in fact, a drone over the CIA annex [in Benghazi] and there were intelligence officials fighting inside the annex.” He then asked Panetta: “Why there wasn't a clear intelligence picture that would have given you what you needed to make some moves, for instance, flying, you know, F-16s over the area to disperse fighters or dropping more special forces in?”
“[T]here's a lot of Monday morning quarterbacking going on here,” Panetta said.
Panetta stated a drone arrived over the annex and fighting was going on. When the drone arrived is most likely when Lamb was able to watch in "almost real-time." Almost real time because streaming via satellite is delayed.
As for MY 20+ years working with/around Officers in the O3 O4 and O5 ranks having that attitude I see no way you could make a comment on my experience.
11:10 p.m. -- The surveillance drone arrives over the Benghazi facility.
flyboy, looks like you can post as often as you like each day, no limit!
You seem to be holding a conversation with yourself, everybody got the message but SoSad. Once she figures it out, you will be talking to yourself. Maybe Mom will talk to you.
Business has kept me from any TV coverage, so I am going off of articles I'm reading. I had expected Hillary (my opinion) to back up those in her department OR Obama. I knew it couldn't be both.
If Hillary is avoiding questions, I think that's wrong if it's simply to clarify a point. If it's behind closed doors, let them hash it out there and learn what is available to them. I'd like to hear that the matter has been settled; I don't need the details.
I've seen 911 brought up a few times here. I hope everyone remembers Bill Clinton testifying behind closed doors.
One question for you: do you believe that the CIA tells us the whole truth such as with the timeline? I just can't buy that. Anything we can't know about would not be included on a timeline.
