Nonsense. The info in the original article was widely reported as of yesterday afternoon.

Jindal changed his mind by yesterday evening probably due to the national attention the story was getting....

And maybe Mr. Jindal would if he could. The reality is that he is spending other people's money and it is not limitless. That he has to prioritize is hardly a cause to call him a cold sob. It seems he has found a way to write that check, or more likely, to have the taxpayers pay up.

I think it is far worse to demand that others act on your compassion.
