Well, the few times I tried singing the only response I got was a bunch of dogs barking.

So it appears that Beyonce lip synced the National Anthem, and the Marine band was not really playing as well. Seems odd but whatever. What caught me was the report that this was because there wasn't time for them to practice together. Really? Beyonce and the Marine band had something more pressing on their schedules??

I would imagine the temperatures outside and the humidity would have played a huge part in the choice to sing or lip sync.
