    Songfourone--

If it's the Borowitz Report, it's satire.

Here is your essential clue, for anyone who bothered to read the original link:

Mr. Paul also blasted Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for her testimony on Benghazi before the Senate today: “Her tactic of answering each and every question we asked her didn’t fool anyone.”

In all fairness, Paul's typical rhetoric closely resembles what the New Yorker attributed to him saying in that article. It's pretty easy to confuse some made-up wacky quote with the real-life wacky quotes he has said. Sometimes the made-up ones are more believable.

At least gas prices really were at $4, and they still are very high compared to what Obama inherited. You on the other hand look like a total fool. LOL It will be easier for you if you just come clean and stop lying.

According to AAA, national gas prices hit $4 under the Bush administration in June 2008. Naturally, the prices came down by election time and continued to fall afterwards. A similar thing happened under Obama, but the prices didn't go up quite as far. Those high prices also came down during and after the election.

During that June, 2008, I remember a gas station close to my home with $5.799 prices for two days. There were reports that the government was going to check into it, but nothing ever materialized.

If you really want to talk about gas prices: When Clinton was president, there was a gas station here that regularly had gas prices at .899. Too bad those days are gone.

“It’s been in news reports that ships have been leaving from Libya and that they may have weapons and what I’d like to know is the annex that was close by, were they involved with procuring, buying, selling, obtaining weapons and were any of these weapons being transferred to other countries, any countries, Turkey included?”

“[….] the size of growth of government is enormous under President Obama.”

“Just because a couple people on the Supreme Court declare something to be ‘constitutional’ does not make it so. The whole thing remains unconstitutional. While the court may have erroneously come to the conclusion that the law is allowable, it certainly does nothing to make this mandate or government takeover of our health care right.”

Now ask me again how I could possibly made the mistake of Rand "I am the Village Idiot" Paul making a crazy bat crap comment......

You blew it, kid. Don't try lame excuses ("OK, he didn't say--but he might have said it!"). Despite your incredible brain, you were easily fooled.

With regard to the idea of whether you have a right to health care, you have realize what that implies. It’s not an abstraction. I’m a physician. That means you have a right to come to my house and conscript me. It means you believe in slavery. It means that you’re going to enslave not only me, but the janitor at my hospital, the person who cleans my office, the assistants who work in my office, the nurses.
    [...]
I’m a physician in your community and you say you have a right to health care. You have a right to beat down my door with the police, escort me away and force me to take care of you? That’s ultimately what the right to free health care would be.
