Christmas Day 2011 marked the 40th anniversary of the longest NFL game ever played, by the Chiefs & Dolphins in the first round of the playoffs. This game was mentioned quite a bit in the aftermath of the Ravens/Broncos double overtime classic.
NFL Network ran a special documentary commemorating this great game. It aired on Christmas, if you're anything like me you forgot to watch or record because you were distracted by the Holiday activities. And unfortunately NFL Network hasn't shown it much since then (I didn't see it until recently). So if you haven't seen it, check out this link:

I'm a fan of original old school network broadcasts, so I think the best part is the surviving NBC footage of the game. As much as I love NFL Films, there's something about watching an original broadcast that really takes me back to that moment.
Any fan of old school NFL games should watch it.
