    Erwin needs another hobby. If my kid went to his law school, I'd think he needs another job.

    But a clearer example of the fact that there is no better way to kill a stupid idea than to circulate it is hard to find.

    It's interesting that Chemerinsky’s essay is several years old; so, it's no doubt dead, dead, dead.

    From the conclusion I think the article is more of a warning:
    I agree with Dean Chemerinsky is that this proposal is “unrealistic at this point in American history.” But I think it’s worth thinking about it, and understanding what its implications are, and what is unsound about it.
    It is not so much about who would do this but rather why you wouldn't want someone to do it.

    "Dean Chemerinsky: My proposal is simple, although unrealistic at this point in American history. First, every child must attend public school through high school. There will be no private schools, no parochial schools, and no home schooling.

    Well, I also have a simple proposal. Since there are powerful and influential social engineers I propose


    That the Second Amendments must be restored as a RIGHT not a privilege subject to the government "responsible" control and discretion.
