Default Towson neighborhoods treated for rats

Several neighborhoods in Towson and Loch Raven Village have been designated for county rat eradication, but county officials remind residents that results might not be immediately visible

If residents in neighborhoods that were swept still see rats, Van Dommelen said the way to get rid of them is to eliminate their food population.

Are these the two-legged variety moving up from the city or the four-legged variety moving up from the city? As with many of the suburbs surrounding Baltimore city, Towson NEVER had a rat problem until the migration began.

Most of that area is your classic red brick townhouse with allies and small backyards. Not really very shocking. Nice to see they are doing something about it.

Not in old Towson but they've are a lot of "rowhouses" as they were once called just outside downtown for years without the rats...both two- and four-legged.
