I don't buy that he didn't know Cha-Cha was outside. Any responsible dog owner knows whether their dog is indoors or out when they leave the house.

And I don't think Mayor of Newark is the end of the line for Cory Booker. He's got a big future ahead of him.

In the 10 years I've had my cat he's gotton out about 3 times without me knowing. It happens. The guy seemed to be comfortable in camera which tells me is a possiblty he really didn';t know.

I can understand not knowing if your cat slipped out or not, as they (cats in general) are wont to do their own thing and even when you're home you don't always know where they are. Cha-cha is a medium to large dog (and a new mother at that) to not realize she wasn't in the house when he left. It appeared to be a fenced yard. How do you not know that your dog is in your fenced yard when you leave. I'm not buying it. He seems to be an irresponsible dog owner to me.

Heck, my cat often locks us out of the house, only to let us on when he feeks like it....

Our dog (RIP) used to love cold weather, and would often lay in the snow on her belly for hours. Didn't mean we didn't keep track of her.

Guy in this case was certainly irresponsible..
