Nope, not at all. I don't know what games you've been watching.

I'm not even going to mention when Ayanbadejo was starting at linebacker. Ugh-talk about a liability.

The super bowl isn't a time for politics. What's to stop Matt Birk from going on a rant about he is against gay marriage? Hey lets throw some gun control talk in there while were at it. At that point we might as well have an open debate. Lets invite the 49ers. Forget football. More important things to worry about.

It is way more important than bullying, human rights or any other stupid political issues.

He should concentrate on only thinking about and talking about football. There is no way he can do his job on Super Bowl Sunday if he does not devote every second of his life from now until then on football. Just like everyone else in the world must devote every second of their life to their job or they too will be a failure.

Cut the bum. Nevermind he is 14th in the league in special teams tackles and leads the Ravens for the 3rd time out of 6 full seasons with the team. He hates bullies and likes gays. That is enough for me.
I'll give you a standing ovation for this post.....

the SB is a worldwide event and draws a lot of attention....he's entitled to his opinion and he is being given a large stage as a SB competitor....

BA is a pro bowler as a ST'er...he's quite a bit more than a bum...one bad game in Denver isn't worth getting wound up about at this point....

As I have said before, he runs his mouth far to much for a guy who does so little.
I totally agree. So he's a good special teams player. Fine. Shut up and do your thing on special teams. He runs his mouth too much.
Look - on a national level nobody is really going to listen to or care what this guy says. Brendan who? He's pandering to his pals somewhere and they will be happy he is speaking out. Yay.
Brendan has a right to his opinions - I respect that. But using the SB as an opportunity to advance your own political/personal agenda isn't really acceptable.
I'd be canned at work if I used situations/opportunities presented by my job to start spouting off about my political/personal views.

he's done, he was too small to help us against the run when all our LB's got hurt earlier ......

he is an undersized LB like his brother was an undersized FB ......

and for a so called special team ace, he almost cost us the denver game .......

politics aside, he should be cut just on performance ......

He's been asked, he's straight. He grew up in a group home in Santa Cruz, that had lots of gays in it. He has alot of family and friends that are gay, his dream is to get on the Ellen show.

btw, he rarely makes a good special team tackle.

cut this selfish special teams wannabe
Actually, I agree. Don't really care what his views are, they're his. But I don't want to know about it. This is about team.

I'd prefer he just learn to stay in his lane on coverage.

It is obvious he is not willing to do whatever it takes to win the Super Bowl. Him bringing up this issue to the media is going to force the other players on the team to give answers on how they feel about the issue. Way to divide the locker room idiot and take the teams attention off the biggest game in Baltimore in 12 years.

FilmStudy gave Matt an A for his latest game against New England. His grades are based off careful study of every play Matt was involved in. What is your "expert" opinion based off of?

This the biggest reason I'm pissed about this. We know several of his teammates are polar opposite on this subject. I think every Raven when asked should say, "Go talk to BA I'm only interested in talking about this game." Then put BA on the shortest leash ever. ONE missed assignment = permanent bench. You know where a guy's priorities are when he asks "How can I promote this cause during Super Bowl week" instead of going to the coaches and asking "How can I correct my terrible play in the Denver game."

So you would be ok with BA dividing and distracting the locker room if it caused the Ravens to lose the Super Bowl? You don't even care about the Ravens winning Sunday?
