"Eight football players from the Canadian Football League (CFL) showed off their softer sides last week after they helped hundreds of homeless dogs receive medical care. The players spent a week helping veterinarians spay and neuter 1327 animals in a desolate area of Cancun, Mexico.
An organization called Cats and Dogs International (CANDi) coordinated the trip, which aims to help stray animals and pet overpopulation through spay and neuter clinics and education programs."
