I do not agree with the Catholic Church on a lot of issues ~ but does the church not have a right to their own rules and beliefs?

If they are looking for a church whose rules and beliefs are based on popular vote, then they really need to exercise their choice and freedom to look elsewhere.
I disagree with plenty of things the Catholic Church does, but I still consider myself pseudo-Catholic. It's the way I was raised, my family is Catholic and I view church as a local community thing, not some worldwide organization.

If the Catholic Church doesn't like that, they can remove me from Mass when I occasionally go.

In actuality, it is not entirely different because every fertilized egg is not implanted and some are ultimately destroyed.
