I would love an example of a known left leaning organization(s) that support conspiracy theories as bizarre, far fetched, frequent or with solid evidence that they are not true, yet still continue to believe as those on the right. You cannot. The examples you give above were not exclusively held by democrat. And you know that. You know for example that the survivalists, the Arian nation, and even some members of the group now known as the Tea Party, to name but a few, were also among the ranks of the "crazy" theorists regarding Cheney and Bush. And still are.

Meanwhile, as of Jan 27, 2013, republicans are in my opinion, the king conspiracy theorists. And I personally have never met a truly intelligent or intellectual conspiracy theorist. Have you ?

OK, here's a question for you. What value does this analysis/discussion provide other than as a tool to try and drive a deeper wedge between the two dominant US political parties.

The constant attempts to correlate mental attributes to one party or another (based on anecdotal evidence) is a tiresome, worthless activity that only serves to piss people off.

You're going to have to elaborate on these a bit because you're just shouting stuff and it makes no sense. How is Global Warming in and of itself a conspiracy theory? How is genetically modified food a conspiracy theory? Also, it's not a conspiracy theory in the least that the right want's to stop abortion. It's part of the pary platform for goodness sakes. Just because it's virtually impossible for them to get it done doesn't mean they don't legitimately want to do it.
