He laughs at himself when others aren't laughing. Very irritating. SNL was great with the original cast, but has only had a few great moments ever since.

I haven't watched SNL in years, but have seen the clip online. I think it's pretty funny, and Ray said he LOLd. I like the part about ascending to heaven from the 50 yard line after the game. That would be awesome, except we'd never hear the end of it and I'm sort of looking forward to the end of it. I love Ray, and I happen to love his shtick because I think it helps the team and is entertaining. What I don't love is the media working it into the ground. Soon it will be done.
