Burnie isn't sputtering NRA's agenda. She has her own thoughts and convictions. Many times I disagree with her and may get on her case kind of hard, I still respect her.

Unlike others, who are frightened at the sight of a gun, she is at least making sense instead of just quoting talking points.

I will support a ban on crappy wire folding stocks. Not because I think they have any relevance on crime, mass shootings and the like, but because they are just plain stupid.

I am not frightened of the guns per se, it is the crazy nut jobs with their hands on the triggers that refuse to address the gun violence.

So...How is lying about what transpired at the testimony even to the point of actually editing the recording to make it sound like the speaker was heckled ~ when he wasn't ~ addressing gun violence?

You really seem to be upset that was pointed out, and I can't understand why that would be. If I stated something that was wrong, then I want to be corrected. There is nothing to be gained by clinging to a falsehood. We can all learn by having our mistakes corrected, so please do so.

What about the children in Blacksburg? (49 shot, 32 dead - no "assault weapon").

Or the adults in Killeen? (50 shot, 23 dead - no "assault weapon").

Or the soldiers at Ft Hood? (42 shot, 13 dead - no "assault weapon").

    Get it?

Only the gun owners kissing the NRA's arse and in complete denial of gun violence should be "cowering" in shame.

Sheesh, take a chill pill. Maybe that way you won't be in such a pissy mood first thing in the morning.

I don't think NRA members are denying there is gun violence. Unfortunately, the powers that be have not determined how to stop criminals from doing what they do best.

We can only hope that the gun owners keep up 'the good work' because they are looking like a bunch of idiots, and the country is watching.

The extremists on any side of an issue tend to come off as a bunch of idiots. However, it's the bamboozled masses that are the true fools.

You really have been reduced to name~calling instead of trying to refute and answer some of the questions that have politely been asked of you.

Like this one you seem to have missed ~

If you want to confiscate all weapons from everyone, then just admit it. And if you do not, then at least try to actually discuss the topic like an adult instead of dodging the discussion in favor of calling someone names and running away.

How rich, because the NRA has been discussing the topic like adults? Please!

And I don't believe in complete confiscation.
