It will be handed to someone no matter who it is.

They already have. And if they decide to choose someone else besides the acting county executive, in all likelihood it will still be someone who is already an elected Republican official in Anne Arundel.

But that doesn't mean that you can't lead the faithful in chanting "Keep hope alive!" for a comeback if that's something what you want to do.

But you're also wrong if you think turning over the county executive position to either the former~governor or his wife ~ when the former and said he is not interested in another office in Maryland and the latter has no political experience in elected office on her own ~ wouldn't be a grand exhibition of entitlement.

It doesn't take an adjunct professor to realize that the people already actively involved in AA politics are the ones who actually ran for office or are active in some other way. I happen to think that bud is right and his prediction is one of common sense. I guess we'll see.

I would like to see Kendel run for office if that is what she really wants and have previously said so. But that is a lot different than someone wanting to gift~wrap a county executive job and present it to her or her husband. I doubt that either would expect that or would even want an elected office that way.
Everything you wrote makes complete sense.
That is an example of sarcasm.
Kendall is involved in AA politics.
Any political leader will take any office any way they can get it.
Bud does make sense and the acting executive may keep the job.
Maybe some day you'll move up from adjunct. Good luck!

Who is "Kendell" and what is "scarism"?

If you make an attempt at condescension, at least attempt to spell correctly.

This post you made implied to me you are an adjunct instructor:

I figured you might be looking for some teaching jobs and BCCC has positions available for you. Never taught ESOL but you could probably handle it.
    Good luck!

It probably seems that way to you because your reading comprehension skills apparently match your spelling and grammar skills which are quite suprising for someone who is supposedly a teacher.

But that's just my subjective opinion, so don't let it prevent whatever "BRING BACK BOB!!" fantasies you still seem to harbor about Republicans using the Leopold vacancy to stage yet another comeback for the former~governor.

I never said I wanted to bring Bob back. Your reading comprehension skills are very weak on this. I have only suggested the wife might be an interesting pick.
Also when you wrote: "If my what is looking for an adjunct job?" that had some grammar weaknesses. Then again I hate being the grammar police.

Check out BCCC, you would be great there!

I can easily understand why you would hate being the grammar police. Again ~ At least try to learn the difference between the proper usage of "your" versus "you're" if attempting condescension.

    Usages not usage.
Have you checked out BCCC yet? I think you would be a perfect fit. Good luck!

And then Word grammar check gives you the following message ~

"Spelling and grammer check is complete."

    How ironic.

No, we don't. We're not really arguing. The three of us are just researching the English language to help improve the forum.

Mr. Hammond has been telling people he is not interested in getting appointed to the position. Another name to watch is Senator Ed Reilly.

    Kendel does want the job!

    Linky

She will appear along with Bongino and others at a forum this Thursday. Reilly will moderate the forum and not be a candidate.

Leopold guilty of county workers to empty the urinary catheter bag but not gulity of directing police to take him to a bowling alley parking lot for sexual liaisons with a county employee. I'm at a lost.

Has to be more to it for Leopold to leave so easily.
