None of the Jamaicans who called into the radio station that I was listening to this morning found it offensive.

Believe it or not, there are white people born in the Caribbean who speak exactly as this guy in the commercial. (ever hear former Orioles pitcher Sidney Ponson speak? He sounds just like this guy).

So this clown on CNN who called it "blackface with voices" is just another in the long line of "those looking for any excuse to cry racism."

I have to admit, I was transferred to a new job in NYC once and when I was introduced to the staff I did I double take when I met one woman. She spoke with a heavy Jamaican accent, but she looked Asian. I thought she was messing with me. Turns out she was only half Chinese.

I think if person (or persons) are looking for a reason to be offended, they will find it. It's just a silly commercial and it did make me think of my trip to Jamaica and all the white girls with braids. lol

I don't think it's offensive. I think someone wants us to think that someone thinks it's offensive to call more attention to the commercial and the product.

Some people will turn over any rock they can find just dying to point a finger and call racism.

Most of the things that are called "racism" I normally never once entertain that they are until someone try to say it is.
