Default Okay, married men...why do you do housework?

    To get sex, right?

Apparently, it isn't working out so well:

The road to hell is paved with good intentions, as they say: the more housework married men do, the less sex they have, according to a new study published Wednesday.

Husbands who spend more time doing traditionally female chores -- such as cooking, cleaning, and shopping -- reported having less sex than those who do more masculine tasks, said the study in the American Sociological Review.
    We just can't win....

"Men in the study reported having had sex an average of 5.2 times in the month prior to the survey, while women reported 5.6."

Do those stats indicate women are cheating?

Nah, they are counting by "completions".

    Why do I do housework?

Um, because it needs to be done, stupid.

I didn't realize cooking, shopping and cleaning were traditionally women's chores. Aside from that, who does this stuff for a single man? Anyone?

Believe it or not, I do housework because I find it relaxing.

    I find it kinda funny.

When I was married I got b*t*h*d at for not helping "correctly". Not loading the dishwasher correctly, washing the wrong temperature or colors, etc.

Now that I'm single again, "they" want to take care of me. "Let me tidy up", "oh your shirt needs ironing", etc.

    I don't get it.

Not that I'll stop them, but I really just don't get it.

The only thing is, my friends who play X-box can't understand why this happens to me and not them. Maybe it's because I don't play X-Box!

B*t*h*d at for not loading the dishwasher correctly? I thought I was the only guy that ever got yelled at for that. I wonder if we dated the same girl? Lol

I make sure it gets done, either by me or the incumbent female, because I'm more afraid of a robber breaking in my house and tripping over all the stuff I leave laying around, hurting himself and suing me.

If you ever saw my "swinging bachelor pad" you'd understand why, you wild and crazy guy! (I loved those guys)

Well I've been married twice and didn't do housework during either marriage. Maybe that's why I've been divorced twice

I once read a survey that showed women see what their man CAN become as opposed to accepting the way they are. Which is why women tend to change once they get married. I guess they've learned well the ol" "bait and switch" tactic.

As mothers, women are uniquely aware of a person's potential vs their performance. MOST men grow up.

    ...some never do.
