Apparently, it isn't working out so well:

The road to hell is paved with good intentions, as they say: the more housework married men do, the less sex they have, according to a new study published Wednesday.

Husbands who spend more time doing traditionally female chores -- such as cooking, cleaning, and shopping -- reported having less sex than those who do more masculine tasks, said the study in the American Sociological Review.

When I was married I got b*t*h*d at for not helping "correctly". Not loading the dishwasher correctly, washing the wrong temperature or colors, etc.

Now that I'm single again, "they" want to take care of me. "Let me tidy up", "oh your shirt needs ironing", etc.

I don't get it.

Not that I'll stop them, but I really just don't get it.

The only thing is, my friends who play X-box can't understand why this happens to me and not them. Maybe it's because I don't play X-Box!

I make sure it gets done, either by me or the incumbent female, because I'm more afraid of a robber breaking in my house and tripping over all the stuff I leave laying around, hurting himself and suing me.
