My wife and I have been sharing household duties... and just about everything else... since 1976.

    'Hope to go another thirty-something...

When hubby proposed and after I said yes. I had a few questions for him. Would clean and change diapers. He said yes.
    My children are my legacy.

Default Okay, married men...why do you do housework?

    I don't.

The trick is I convinced mrs. bullmikey that I'm so inept that she'd rather do it "right" herself. I know it sounds too good to be true but it's worked for me for the last 34 years. She tried me out at a few jobs and decided I was useless so she doesn't bother me anymore. I haven't done a tick's worth of housework since.

Sounds like you caught a keeper. I actually enjoy doing dishes. It relaxes me oddly enough. If someone wants to cook me a good dinner I'll do dishes. I'm a good handy man around the house and I keep both cars serviced and running, but in the house I could be better. That's not say I don't do anything, but my wife has her routines and methods so I try not to get in her way. (I'd do a smiley here but haven't figured it out yet.)
