If Clinton and Biden don't run, and O'Malley snags some of the big-money folks, he could have a viable shot at the nomination. I see him being more of a VP candidate, however.

Why? Maryland is such a stellar example of how the nation should be run. After all, we have the number 1 performing schools, shrinking government and low taxes!

Please tell us what long dead as a doornail Agnew has to do with OweMalley being qualified to be President or Vice President considering the sorry state of affairs in this, State?

Gay people can marry? Swell now tell those gays struggling financially like the straights because of boy wonders tax and spend policies how great he is. Illegal immigrants, get tuition breaks? Tell the students who are citizens who now see their tuition going up how swell that is.

All Maryland residents pay the same rate and the majority of Maryland voters approved it

The Vice President is pretty much a do nothing job. How stellar can you be when your major duty is being the tie breaker.

Simply pointing out that this states candidates to the executive branch seem to be not so great. I mean Agnew was a thief but then he ran with a crock too!

I disagree with, dislike, and distrust Martin O'Malley, but as a Democratic candidate for POTUS I think he will be perfect. Nice smile, nice haircut, nice feelgood BS rhetoric, plenty of style with minimal substance, willing to spend as much of our money as is needed to curry favor with low-information voters - he's the perfect politician. I really believe he will go far.

Just when you thought O'Martin couldn't get any more stomach-turning.

It's going to be a blast watching him tank on the national stage outside of Daddy Joe's shadown.

O'Martin makes a fool out of himself every time he steps on the national stage...unless it's some scripted interview where he never strays from his talking points.

He was the laughing stock of two DNC's. Even the msnbc ghouls mocked his speech in 2012.

O'Malley makes such a fool of himself and even his fellow Democrats dislike him so much that he was elected governor here twice, elected to lead the Democrat Governors Association twice, and is sought out by the national media to appear on their programs.

I would not vote for him either, but to portray him as some sort of anomaly and outcast among Democrats is sheer wishful thinking.
