Looks like someone still hasn't gotten over the fact that his offense couldn't score a single point in Super Bowl XXV:

Complete and utter BS. Has this idiot ever heard of forgiveness or redemption? By the way how many touchdowns did this bum catch in Super Bowl XXXV? In fact how many passes did he even catch?
Add Amani to the list.
I like Amani, but he seems to consistently have it in for Ray...
This is the part I don't get...
Mr. Religious is not equal to Mr. Perfect...In fact Mr. Religious usually comes into being because someone was less than perfect. I thought it was common for most Christians to turn to God after some sort of hardship? Am I missing something here“If you want to say you’re Mr. Religious and all of that, have a clean record. Don’t say all of that stuff if you know there’s stuff that might come back. Those are the things that, when I look at him, I just think hypocrisy.”
I could see if Ray were getting into trouble Saturday night then talking about God on Sun., but that's obviously not the case.
Amani's got an ax to grind...
Amani got ridiculed three weeks ago when he spouted the same hooha. Now he's doubling down?

As much as I hate to agree with any jerk from Univ. of Michigan, Toomer is right.
If any of you were honest with yourselves you would admit Ray is all about Ray and always has been, and his antics are ridiculous.
As Toomer said, first ballot HOF'er no doubt.
You are exactly right but the only people who understand the concept of Christianity are mainly Christians. When I hear people say things like what Amani said I immediately know that they don't have a clue as to what they're talking about. Christianity is definitely not about being perfect but that's a concept that a lot of people don't get.
It's time for Ray to retire. I'll give everyone that.
That said, Ray is one of the best ever. He's in the discussion of THE best ever.
Muhammed Ali was a constant trash talker. Many consider him to be the best ever.
Ray isn't even close to Ali in the "me, me, me" talk.
What confuses me is everyone's ability to give more than an ounce of thought to Lewis and his "hypocrisy". Like everyone who doesn't like Ray Lewis is a saint. Please. Get a life.
Sounds like people are just jealous because Ray wasn't on their team or just don't like to hear someone talk all the time and actually be able to back it up with actions.
Thats my 2¢.
coins.....
I have heard very little if any talk from the players about wanting to win it for Ray. I did hear Corey Graham diplomatically dance around the question of what a motivation Ray's retiring has meant. He said in so many words that they had plenty of motivation on their own. I've heard no support for Ray Lewis at all. In fact I assume he's gotten on their nerves in a huge way because the Super Bowl has been all about him.
All Lewis has done since he announced his retirement is show humility and praise his God.
the fact that all the yappity yaps on the various sports shows want to stick a camera in his face and ask him questions does not make him a "me" guy.
Ray has his teammates focused and ready to do battle. As I have said before....
there was a shot of them walking up the tunnel onto the field in Foxboro right before gametime, every man focused, singing a somber song in unison> I looked to the guys I watch the games with and said "Patriots have no chance today"
the team is focused, and Ray is the one who has them there. Hate all you want, but ANY team would love to have him suit up and play for them.
What I laugh at is the stupidity of some who say that he shouldn't have announced his retirement.
As if he is the first to announce a retirement during or before a season.
Come on, man.
Right because only you know and have all the right answer to any topic that gets posted here as you so like to think.
For me it's the reason. He says Ray is making it all about himself and not team. Is he in the locker room? Does he know how the other 51 guys feel? From everyone who is in and around that locker room, the other players have no issue with what Ray is doing. A number of the continue to say that doing this for Ray is a big driving motivation for them. All that truley matters here is how his teammates feel.
I don't think much of one who will publicly speak out in this way against another in his line of work. It looks petty and jealous to me. Funny how a guy who knocks the attention the other is getting doesn't mind getting the mic in his face. Wird of advice to Toomer, take the high road next time.
And that's all that matters in the world that revolves around me.
Toomer was on 105.7 the fan earlier tonight and took more shots at Ray and also took a little dig at the Ravens fans for supporting Ray.
