Ah yes, when all else fails, the lefties trot out the insults!

Hagel was once a pretty strong republican...he is not now. He has supported Dems for the last few years and has worked with the adminstration and is now I believe teaching at Georgetown

Yours and other attempts to paint him as a republican...well I stand by what I said that he's a RINO now!

Just be honest and admit that you think any republican who works for Obama is not a republican(despite their history or voting record).

I'm sure you view John Huntsman as a RINO too despite his pretty conservative record as governor of Utah. You're just as bad as the dunces in Congress...

    Nothing has failed, you [deleted].

You have nothing in this argument; you've been shown to be wrong; and now you whine about being insulted.

Grow a pair, or stay home.

Hagel couldn't answer the questions without guidance from his aide. Maybe the aide should have taken Hagel's place since he seemed to know the Obama playbook better.

You are flailing away rather than admit that McCain and his boy Graham became part of the subject when they went on a badgering campaign.

It was until the pubbies led by McCain and little boy Graham led the rest of the pack off the reservation. Did you see how the latest 90 day wonder Cruz made a clown out of himself?

Meanwhile S/Sgt. Charles Hagel will be the SEC-DEF for the next four years.

That's a scary thought considering his performance at the hearing.

Obama will suffer the consequences of his decision. LMAO! We're just trying to point out the error of his ways. I personally don't give a crap one way or the other.

Any Defense Secretary who can reduce our absurdly-bloated military to something more "lean and mean" is fine with me.

That's not what democrats want either because it is another way of stimulating the economy with stimulus money.

The fat, and there's lot's of in the Defense Department, just like any government department is so full of fat. But it won't be cut enough because it is being used to stimulate the economy.

Of course and the history of that goes way back. Perhaps you have forgotten Ike's warning about the military industrial complex. Chicken hawks abound in there!

Hagel will fit in this administration perfectly.

Another incompetent that does not have this country's best interests first and foremost.

The debt issue is not why Eisenhower warned of the Military Industrial Complex. He knew if they made weapons they would need to test them by creating wars.
