There is no "right" to own an assault weapon. It's not guaranteed under the 2nd, or anywhere else in the Constitution.

AR-15 type semi-auto rifles are not going to be confiscated, so the government has de facto recognized the "right" to own them.

Daan that brings up an interesting point. What gives government the right to confiscate guns from law abiding citizens?

Geez, would you please educate yourself and read a few things before posting.

No proposed legislation is proposing confiscation.

And that "scarey" black rifle never was actually "banned" because the rifle with a few cosmetic changes never stopped being manufactured and sold.

    This is true.

Did the law makers learn anything from the Federal AWB Of 1994?

    We'll see.

    "Learn anything."

Doesn't look like it. The only change is that the LWNJ MoonBat Dianne Feinstein has proposed legislation that has no chance of passing.

    Probably not.

My suspicion is that it's nothing more than political posturing to her constituents. Politicians do that chit all the time.

Find a post where someone here has supported total confiscation. Find where Obama has proposed total confiscation.

    Just one.

Where do people get this confiscation, attacks-against-law-abiding-citizens crap? I guess some people just want to live in la-la land.

It's that "betaverse" place where they all seem to dwell.

It's an alternate "reality" reserved for the ignorati.

    It's a crowded place.

Gun nuts need to concentrate on the child rapists, their neighbors, child murderers in their backyard instead of thugs they will never meet.
