Default radio host Rush Limbaugh was refused service at a Mexican restaurant

The owners of Pablo's Taqueria in Palm Beach Gardens say that they have a strict "no racists" policy and kindly asked Limbaugh to leave the premises when he attempted to place his order.

He initially declined to leave the restaurant, and after a brief argument was escorted out by security guards.

The incident began when the restaurant's manager recognized Limbaugh as he was making his order. The manager approached his table and kindly asked him to leave. According to witnesses, Limbaugh then stood up and launched a racist, obscenity-laced rant.

    My that's a big quote.

Kinda dumb on the restaurant's part. I mean he probably would have kept the kitchen busy for a while, if you know what I mean.

Gotta be satire. Rush would never leave a restaurant before he was full.

    Funny though.

Definitely satire. Rush Limbaugh has enough money to pay lawyers and knows a discrimination lawsuit when he sees one. If there is one thing Limbaugh is good at, it is making money, no matter how that money might be made.

Funny stuff. If it was true I would have supported the manager's decision.

If true I would have called the restaurant owner a racist pig.

Would you have called the restaurant owner the same name if the story had been about Jeremiah Wright?

No matter what you may think about someone's views, that is no reason to not serve them unless they are disturbing your establisment. Rush Limbaugh's views might represent everything you disagree with, but as long as he is not in anyway disturbing your establishment or bothering your customers, it is his right to be served.

Sounds like a satirical spin-off from the story about the people in a Texas restaurant who grumbled about a noisy 5-year-old with Down's Syndrome and were kicked out by their waiter... or the cheese-steak place in Philly that refuses to serve people who don't speak English.

Well, in that case the manager of the restaraunt could have legal action taken against him. The courts usually recognize that the right of refusal of service cannot be completely arbitrary.

Does that mean I can be free to open a bar and allow smoking in it?

That is not allowed. Sad to say...
