No, for a stretch of time the Falcons used the designed "read option" with significant frequency.
Here's an article that talks about it, should you choose not to believe. John Fox and Brian Dawkins are also lying.

Fox first saw an NFL team employ the read option in 2006, when the Falcons used it with the erratic-passing, sensational-running Michael Vick.
"Go back and look at how prolific that offense was," said Broncos safety Brian Dawkins, who played for the Philadelphia Eagles against Vick and the read option in the 2006 finale. "And how much of a headache it was for defensive coordinators. How are you going to play this read option? OK, who's going to play the dive? Who's got Warrick Dunn? Michael Vick keeping the ball? And if he keeps it, which side? It was tough to keep up. It was a headache."
The first time the Falcons broke out the read option that year was against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and they rushed for 306 yards against famed and flummoxed defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin. The spread option worked all year. Vick became the only quarterback in history to rush for 1,000 yards, and the Falcons led the NFL in rushing with 183.7 yards per game — a decisive 22.6 yards more than runner-up San Diego.
I was watching NFL football long before you were in diapers boy, and probably before many of these voters, some of which were too darn stupid to vote in Jerry Kramer - all pro guard of the Lombardi Packers who made one of the greatest blocks in NFL history during the Ice Bowl, which I watched as it happened. I saw Max McGee one arm catch in Superbowl I and Earl Morrall's meltdown in Superbowl III. Where were you when these games were being played?
Get back to me when you have watched half the number of games I have seen son. You haven't been alive long enough junior. You are a FLAT OUT LIAR if you continue spouting this nonsense. So crawl back in your troll hole with your Yankee/Redskin pals (if you have any which apparently you don't.)
I bet if you turn up the radio, you can talk even more about players you haven't seen play. Feel free to comment on players from the 60's, maybe you actually saw them play.
So what? That just shows that he is more popular likely because of sympathy in how the kid got beaten up. Russell Wilson outplayed him head to head and his team beat yours. So you think those aspects are less important than a ROY award?? How about them apples son??? Even you can't be that dense??![]()

Fellow Fans! Understand that the rookie class of QBs was a great one with all of them making major contributions!
However, none of them are in the SB so it must take more...
Flacco, on the other hand, is building proof that he is truly an elite QB!
He has so many "mosts" and he might add another one with another TD in the 2nd half.
niners have one of the best defenses and best offensive lines in football ......
looks like their achilles heel is the gimmick offense they run .....
CK has a way better arm than rg3 so they have more flexibility ....
I like Joe's SB MVP award better. :-)
