Did you guys come up with a verdict yet? The courts are waiting so they don't have to have a trial
http://www.wsws.org/en/articles/2012/04/tray-a03.html I have seen the evidence supporting Zimmerman's case. Much of it has either been debunked or is just weak in general. It doesn't add up. The evidence against him, however, is far more compelling.Originally Posted by veritas
Like what? What has been "debunked" about Zimmerman's injuries? Heck, ABC news just recently released a previously unknown image of his head taken within minutes of the confrontation that shows it bloodied. The case against him is exceedingly weaker than the self defense argument he will make.
Zimmerman claimed he yelled "help" when audio experts say it wasn't him, for one. Only total numbnuts would think that there is more evidence for his self-defense case, and you can't even back it up.
Zimmerman will be judged guilty or not guilty based on the evidence and on his credibility (self defense will require him to testify under oath).
Zimmerman's credibility will be attacked based on his testimony under oath at his first bail hearing where he lied about Martin's age. And his re-enactment at the scene with the detectives does not agree with the recorded conversation with the dispatcher nor with the crime scene photos as to where the struggle took place.
In the 21 page autopsy report, the only injury to Martin's hands was a 1/4 x 1/8 inch scratch (Abrasion?) on his left ring finger.
.
So, it is your contention that he simply shot down Martin and that his head injuries never happened? What evidence backs that up? And why would Zimmerman need to physically accost Martin if he had a handgun he could simply brandish? That makes no sense at all. All the evidence points to Martin initiating the physical confrontation.
Lol, you already KNOW GZ is guilty.
Why have a trial, right?
I personally couldn't care less if GZ walks or fries, but I certainly enjoy poking all the LWNJs who know (beyond any doubt, of course) that GZ is guilty, that he's racist, and that young "Trayvon" was just some innocent little kid wearing a hoodie skipping his way to buy candy for his sister.
I laugh at their naïveté.
Hypocrite. You're acting like you already know he's innocent, so don't give me that bullcrap. veritas, it seems to me that if Zimmerman had just gone up to Martin and popped him, that would seem a tad suspicious.Originally Posted by Jeebus

It looks more and more like it will all come down to whether the jury or judge find Zimmerman credible.
It seems like the rain and it being dark have made the witnesses uncertain about what they thought they saw.
Several George Zimmerman witnesses change their accounts

Quote
This witness lived a few feet from where Trayvon and Zimmerman had their fight. On the night of the shooting, he told Serino he saw a black man on top of a lighter-skinned man "just throwing down blows on the guy, MMA-style," a reference to mixed martial arts.End Quote
He also said the one calling for help was "the one being beat up," a reference to Zimmerman.
But three weeks later, when he was interviewed by an FDLE agent, the man said he was no longer sure which one called for help.
"I truly can't tell who, after thinking about it, was yelling for help just because it was so dark out on that sidewalk," he said.
He also said he was no longer sure Trayvon was throwing punches. The teenager may have simply been keeping Zimmerman pinned to the ground, he said.
.
Pssst - that uncertainty is also known as "reasonable doubt" lol.
And all it takes for GZ to walk away is one person who has "reasonable doubt" about what the prosecution is alleging. Gonna be hard to convince 12 people beyond a reasonable doubt.
One person thinks otherwise, and he walks away, a free man.
And given what we know so far, the "doubt" about what happened is far above "reasonable" - there is MUCH doubt, even CERTAIN doubt about what happened -- and that single juror will ensure GZ is not railroaded by the leftist media, and will ensure that justice is served by not jailing an innocent man.
I see Jeebus is drooling at the prospect at letting racist murderers off.
I googled it, and in fact it was originally reported that he used a racial slur, but that accusation changed with further analyzing. So scratch that...

Better?
