judge. Jury will only get the self defense instruction if Zimmerman provides credible evidence according to the judge.

true, but like the OJ trials we can all form our non-legal opinions. Even though OJ is mot-guilty I would not hire him to babysit just like I would not hire George Zimmerman either if he is found not guilty. He gets a trial for the purposes of incarceration but that will not stop the fact that he killed someone and is IMHO reckless and crazy!

The FL law on stand your ground, can be open to many interruptions.

There have been cases where criminals have successfully used the defense.

Zimmerman's parents are so tied into the legal system that I will not in the least bit be surprised if he walks.

    100% wrong, again (sigh).

Your understanding legal principals and concepts is.......lacking to put it mildly.

No, the poster said Zimmerman assaulted Martin before he was shot.

You keep using the term "stalking" but that is not appropriate according to Florida Law. A more appropriate term would probably be "surveilance".

Stalking occurs when one person is repeatedly harassed by another person, with behavior marked by persistent, unwanted contact. The behaviors typical of stalking include numerous phone calls, undesired gifts and following the victim. Because these behaviors cause fear and a diminished quality of life, there are laws in every state against stalking. Florida statutes define stalking as willfully, maliciously, and repeatedly following or harassing a person. Depending on the nature of the harassment, the stalking will either qualify as a misdemeanor or felony.

Once again, right wingers take one side on this issue and left wingers take the other. How can political differences split the opinion of an issue like this? Oh right. Race.

Martin is black, he must be guilty.

I don't really see this issue as being right winged or left winged. I simply want to see what happens at trial.

Neither do I. Yet somehow, the right-wingers take Zimmerman's side while left-wingers take Martin's side. Why is that?

And yet others see Martin being black and the killer being not black, therefore he was killed because he was black.

But you must have (hypocritically) missed that post.

I think people think Zimmerman is guilty because he did shoot Martin, and then there's the classic excuse afterward of self-defense.

It wasn't misspelled, it was misused. 'Principal' and 'principle' have different meanings. Just say thank you and considered it something learned today.

Mom, that is your problem not mine. Seems obvious to me reading through this thread. I know you know who the righties here are and who the lefties are.
