Here we are. Super Bowl Sunday. Who would have thunk it 2 months ago? So many stories to this game. Last game for the General and possibly a few other Ravens Veterans. Hoping they go out on top today. Will be a physical game with 2 second half teams. Smash the Niners!!! GO RAVENS!!!!!!!!

These pre-game shows are annoying the f*** out of me.If you listen to these "experts" you would come away thinking Ray is the only player on the Ravens Defense.Future HOF'er Ed Reed? How about last years Defensive player of the year Terrel Suggs or maybe one of the most dominant DT's in the NFL in Haloti Ngata?

Shouldn't let this get under my skin, but they've apparently already forgotten about the Denver and New England games and they're already to go all in on a QB who has a grand total on 9 starts in the NFL because they're still unsure about Flacco.

The pre-game show is no place to talk politics.

Default Just a word of thanks..

Before the game, I'd like to say a few words.

Thanks to DColeman for the game threads throughout the year.

I don't get caught up in the hype too much, I would say I am a casual fan. Can't quote stats or even tell you every name on the offensive line..but, like everyone else, I can't wait for this one to start!

I think we Ravens fans are very fortunate. We have ownership that is committed to winning. Much like it was for us Orioles fans 30 or 40+ years ago, we expect the Ravens to win and do special things.

We got to see one of, if not the best middle linebackers to play the game, play here. How much fun has it been to watch Lewis and Reed play? Lots.

Most of us realize it is very difficult to win in the NFL, much less make it to the playoffs and the big game.

Something special is occurring before our very eyes...the stars have aligned to witness two brothers go at each other in the big one. Lewis plays his last game in the BIG game...as Jonathan Ogden was selected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

An incredible ending to a season filled with it's ups and downs..

Win or lose (and yeah, I am definitely hoping for the win) it has been a great ride this year and as I mentioned earlier, I hope we fans understand we have something pretty damned good here in our Baltimore Ravens.

    Now, let's play ball!

Hell of a time to figure it out, Akers.

In the meantime, the Ravens show why they are still a great defense.
