Schefter is a moron. He predicted the Ravens to lose every game in the playoffs so far.

Who knows...maybe it'll end up motivating Boldin. Still, to "report" it the day of the Super Bowl is pretty damn stupid, IMO.

Boldin and Reed and others MAY not be here next year due to the cap. I have heard and read various comments in this regard for a while. Advice to Joe: sign for less than your 'worth' so that this team can sign important parts of the winning puzzle.

Schefter is part of the continuing ESPN ploy to create the news and stir the pot. Think of it...I'm sure that Ozzie or Eric or John et al. spoke to him about this, especially now.

Advice to Joe: Sign for what you're worth. Advice to Ravens FO: Cut the fat and restructure Ngata and Suggs.

Nobody in the Ravens organization "released" this story today / this week. Boldin's contract has been in the rumor mill for re-work or release after the season for a while now. Schefter chose now to make it a story. Because "Breaking News" on marquee players when the whole world is watching (sort of) makes for good resume fodder...

They barely acknowledged the dude's flip flop on the deer spray farce.
