Suck it Gore. And had the power not gone out I believe it would have been a 44 to 13 type of game.
Go Seahawks. That's all.
Actually, one more thing, SCOREBOARD.
Fact, 2 hold calls on kick return not called
After turnover, the big fight, ravens player pushes ref, use to be automatic disqualify. Foul, not called. Forget 4th down def holding, how about 3rd down helmet to helmet hit not called. Ravens won, hung on to win, looked beat towards end, sf beat themselves especially with 6 trips to redzone, only 14 pts to show. Trust me no team has ever won a title in any sport without be lucky, it was the luck that got ray ray his last title, so gore isn't really blowing off steam
This is the new helmet to helmet?
Yes, the 49ers beat themselves because there was no other team on the field when they were in the red zone. And Cary Williams getting thrown out of the game for pushing the ref would have been a +1 for the Ravens.
links on this thread back to 2007 talking about his lack of heart ......
I think SF was the more talented team but that doesn't necessarily make them the better team.
"Bend, don’t break
The Ravens have a bend but don’t break defense.
They allow opponents to score touchdowns on just 43 percent of Red Zone possessions (including playoffs). That’s the second-best rate in the NFL this season (incl. playoffs). The 43.4 percent red-zone efficiency they had in the regular season has translated to the playoffs, where they have allowed touchdowns on just 40 percent of Red Zone possessions."
I'm going to cut Gore some slack because I'm thinking he said that when his emotions were high after a tough loss. If he continues to go on about it days/weeks from now, then I'll change my opinion. Players can become very passionate in these games and sometimes say things they later regret.
Maybe not.......but the better Running Back did !!Frank Gore....the better team did not win

Frank Gore shouldn't have let Donnell Ellerbie run all the way across the field and knock him out of bounds at the 7 yard line if the better team should have won.
The best team, is the team that is ahead when the final seconds tick off.
Always has been that way.
Its similar to boxing, a guy can get knocked down several times, way behind on points and gets up and knocks his opponent out with left hook.
The better QB did!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!
They might be the 'better team', but we've got the Lombardi.
You would think that their handsome 'participation certificates' would be enough to make them happy, but apparently not.
Personally, I think the '06 Ravens were the "best team in football" that year throughout the regular season. They got a case of the turnovers and went out early in the playoffs. Being declared the "best team" by power rankings or public opinion means nothing. The '06 Ravens didn't win the title. "Feelings" don't really matter...
