I wonder if, after tasting it this year, they could convince a bunch of guys to play cheaper to maybe make another run? I mean, how much money does once person really need?
I've played in that Fantasy Football league too.

Sadly, there is little to no chance of that happening. Salaries are driven as much by ego, pride and greed as they are by accomplishments. The desire to win, or keep a winning team together plays only a minor role.

Having said that, can't we put this conversation off for at least a week and just enjoy what the Ravens accomplished?

Oz has his work cut out for him that's for sure. Hopefully they structure Joe's contract so it doesnt kill us too bad.

Ed may be gone. But we thought that about Ray a few years back too. I suspect the FO will do to Ed what they did with Ray. Make him an offer and let him shop it. Hope no one makes a better offer. I wont be heart broken if Ed leaves. He'll be back for a ceremonial retirement.

I really hope we can keep Kruger, Ellerbe and Boldin. I like Jones too but who knows whats going to happen with him.

Boldin is the one above all that I think we need to keep. I'm fine with Reed's last game with us being the Superbowl. But of all those players, I think Boldin is the one that's truly irreplaceable.

I think if we can keep Boldin, Ellerbe and Jones we should be good, but onlyl if they can find a left tackle. McKinnie is a question mark so that line is my main concern.

After that my next concern is the D-line. Need a replacement for Kruger. Then in the secondary I think we'll lose Cary Williams but Web will return and Graham seems like he can fill a spot. Reed will be a casualty so move Jimmy Smith to safety.

The team simply won't be as good as they were this year and there will be a missing element that will take time to rebuild. And that element is chemistry. The adversity brought these guys so close and you just can't manufacture that.

Despite Dilfer not being a great QB they destroyed the chemistry of that team despite largely keeping that team together for the next year. It wasn't like they had a chance to get Troy Aikman to replace him. I mean Elvis Grbac? Seriously? Between that and Boller, it makes Billick look like the worst judge of QB talent in history.
