Default Will there be another Harbowl?

I think there's a reasonable chance that Jim and John Harbaugh will face each other again in another Super Bowl one day. Both are young Coaches. Both the Ravens and the 49ers have young talent that can keep the SB-competitive for another decade. And there's always the possiblity that one (or both) of the Harbaugh's move on to another team and face each other representing other teams. But to think that this will never again happen in the NFL isn't realistic.

I think if it happens again, it'll be in a few years, not now. I don't think Jim or John will go anywhere any time soon, but the 49ers are just getting started with all of their young talent, while the Ravens are going to need to do a little re-tooling and rebuilding before they're ready for the big stage again. This is just my opinion, obviously, but I think they'll need a year or so to let a new defensive leader step up, and to replace some of the vets they're losing (Lewis and Kruger for sure, and Birk, Reed and Boldin are all possible).

Don't get me wrong - I think the Ravens are still a good team next year, and will be fine in the future, but I think SF has a better chance to get there immediately than the Ravens do, so if it happens again, it won't be until 2014-2015.

I can't believe that more hasn't been made of the fact that Jim Harbaugh's son (according to a snippet on Turning Point) was an intern for the Ravens this year. Technically, he was sort of on John Harbaugh's staff. So not only was there the brother-vs-brother angle... but there was also a father-vs-son angle.

If the son gets a ring will he wear it around dad?

Absolutely a chance. I don't think it will happen next year, but give it a couple of years. The Ravens will be reloaded and talented again. In fact, they will be talented again next year - but I don't know if they can repeat, unless Flacco really comes out of his shell to become more consistent during the regular season.
I think having Caldwell on board next year will give that a better chance of coming true.

Perhaps, but Jim seems like a candidate for "Coaching Burnout" to me, the way he blows up on the sidelines every week. Sure, it can fire up the fanbase, but I can't think of too many cases where that sort of coach lasts very long.

    ITA.

There's lots of work to be done especially in terms of the Defense before the Ravens will be ready to return to the big stage again. They will more than likely have to replace not only Lewis but Kruger,Ellerbe,Reed and Cary Williams as well. That's a lot of turnover on the Defense to fix in one offseason
