I worked at that McDonalds when it first opened.

Camden Yards certainly booed Sheila when she was on the field for something.

When 200,000+ people converge there will be problems. That's 200,000 personalities to clash. We have far fewer here and can't even get along all of the time. All in all, it was a great (if not poorly planned) event.

I had a nice time overall, mostly because of my experience outside the stadium. I don't think I'll forget the idiots I ran into inside the stadium, though. Unfortunately, they dominated the experience.

I've been to other events at M&T (concerts and football games). Roughly the same number of people in the stadium. I don't recall any negative incidents those other times. The difference on Tuesday is that because there was no admission, even the riffraff came in. Ordinarily, the price of a ticket is enough of a deterrent to keep them out.

In retrospect they should have charged like $2 or something.

After reading the various comments here on the board, I would like to hear from the MD State Police Commanders who were on the scene, to get their take on the matter.

It really amazes that in the greater Baltimore Metro area we must have 5,000 to 10,000 people employed as law enforcement officers, yet we rarely heard about them being accosted off duty and taking some type of action.

Do thugs and criminals have some kind of uncanny ability to recognize LEOs when off duty and in civilian clothes?

Do you think the people reporting these incidents are lying?

I absolutely believe the incidents happened.

As a form of justice, I always hope that when thugs do bad things, that they would at least once in a while, unexpectedly confront an armed off duty law enforcement officer.

They should have. Might have at least covered all the damage done to the stadium. The men's room was trashed. Water and urine was everywhere on the floor. I've never, ever seen it that bad. I was thoroughly disgusted.

Doesn't free access mean do as you please? There is free access to streets so people throw their trash in the street.

Apparently. Come to think of it, the urinals were waterless. I'm wondering just how much of the liquid on the floor was water. Gross.

Some people will never live up to even the most basic of society's standards.

I believe that McDonald's opened up in the early '80s, but the lady is eternally young regardless.

That video on its own is proof that they need to charge $5 next time and donate the proceeds to a charity.

Ravens won't hold another fan event without tickets to control crowds

Boy was trampled by larger-than-expected crowds during Super Bowl celebration

Ravens officials said Thursday they won't extend an open invitation to fans again without first passing out free tickets, after this week's Super Bowl celebration at M&T Bank Stadium where larger-than-expected crowds amassed and an 11-year-old boy was trampled.

Tiffany Hodge said she brought her son to the stadium from East Baltimore with hopes that he could see his hero, running back Ray Rice, but an unruly crowd overwhelmed them and both were knocked unconscious. She said her son, Tyrek, suffered a concussion, an injury to his eye, and still has a swollen face.

"I was holding my son's hand, but instantly it was gone," Hodge said in an interview Thursday. "It was too late. They had already trampled on top of us."...
