Okay but don't most teams play their best players and they tend to play both ways. And what's wrong with a team's "real major players were seniors?" Weren't they juniors the year before like the juniors of last season will be seniors and perhaps the real major players for the team this coming fall? Now if Franklin played 70 to 80% of their players both ways, most teams, especially those who were great underdogs, should have gone hurry up and no huddle to wear such a team out. Do you know if that happened agianst Franklin with their essentially an 11-man team?

I think you are reading way to much in my post,I'm not being negitive my kids were on that team,I was just stating facts that they were not a young team last year, now this coming year is a different story they will be young across the board.

Okay cool. According to BJC data, there were something like 18 seniors last season and he considered them a youg team. And there should be about 14 seniors this coming season so if you think that is much younger then okay.

Let's get this right about Franklin. They have been a solid program since they beat City. Milford and Franklin will battle every year because 1st those are two very good coaching staffs and 2nd they get those skill player's that can change the game. A program success is determined by there ability to reload. Franklin has proven they can. Were they young this year the answer is yes 2 starting tackles that were 10th grades with great size 3 RB's that got lots of playing time were also 10th and 9th graders, two solid DE that were 10th graders one I believe made all county. Two key freshman obviously smothers is one top players in the state. And a solid Jr class not great but solid high school players. Rob A your kids were 10th graders as well. No doubt the Ellis brother, Jackson, Melvin and the center will be missed but that not impossible to replaced. Rob A you seem to be salty and off base.

Thanks TDC...I know I was correct...young team, and they had a large roster of about 50 kids just about all season...I witnessed that at the Milford game....counted the helmets on the sidelines with a coach from another school..They should be pretty good again this season...

As long as the game is within 3 weeks of the start of the season, the Mcards will pound them...anything after that and we are talking about a CHC vs Evt type of game...15 to 13...12 to 8...that type of thing
