Its High School they all are regular students.. Just because they play a sport doesn't make them irregular or different.. I still stand by the MIAA only needs non-needs based aide reported that the school divies out whether it be donations, alumnist funds, academic scholarships etc.... A person sponsoring or paying for another persons kid with private funds does not fall under "school aide not falling under needs based guide lines".. its a private matter and in no way jeopardizes a kids amateur status with the NCAA..
