Default Pakistan Warns U.S. Drone Strikes Are 'Red Line'

WASHINGTON -- Smarting under the U.S. drone attacks it calls a violation of its sovereignty and international law, Pakistan has threatened to withhold cooperation with the United States on counter-terrorism operations until the drone strikes stop.

Sherry Rehman, Pakistan's ambassador to Washington, said Tuesday that the continuing drone strikes are a "red line," but she declined to say whether Pakistan would order its U.S.-made F-16 fighters to shoot down the drones.

    Wouldn't that be ironic?

The Pakistani's play a dangerous game. Stop all aid to Pakistan and let the Taliban know they can do what ever they want inside Pakistan without any interference by the United States. Lets see what Pakistan does then.

You think? Somehow I doubt it. They don't want the Taliban running their country. No I think they'd crap their pants.

What would be ironic is if Pakistan took the billions of dollars of aid we give them each year and used portions of it to help hide Al Qaeda higher-ups.

    Oh, what.........

Pakistan is pretending to have cooperated with us on counter-terrorism operations?

The same country that sheltered and profited off of bin Laden?

Oh no! Don't stop "cooperating" with us, Pakistan!

I understand why Pakistan is upset, but at the same time they are the top safe haven for terrorists. And they were hiding that one dude.

While we do need some cooperation with them, Pakistan isn't and will never be our ally/friend.

I agree with you 100%. Are you shocked. We could bomb them back to the stone age(Curtis LeMay) but they already live there!
