Does anyone recall the fate of the last budget submitted by Obama? If so, then why does this matter?

I think it does matter greatly that our government provide the taxpayers with a budget plan so we can see how our money is being spent. But should it come as a surprise to anyone that no budget is being passed again? No.

    Upset at this?

Were you also upset when the Shrub kept the Iraq and Afghanistan wars off the budget?

    I didn't think so.

you make no sense. What about your link. Moreover, you can't even back it up, another angry good ole boy sycophant.

Does anyone recall the reason the last budget submitted by Obama suffered the fate that it did?

Then in all fairness the house and senate should pass a budget. Obama can't sign a budget that doesn't exist. Since his last attempt at a budget fell flat then the complaint about a new one not being on time seems a bit of a stretch.

It didn't address the fiscal problems the government is facing and there were some political shenanigans.

I agree. But if the budget purposed by the President doesn't get past the Senate, maybe he should have payed them a visit and see just why his budget failed to pass, or was that his plan all along, to submit a bill he never expected to pass?

If the whole point is to have Obama submit a budget that stands no chance then I think they're just wasting everyone's time to score political points.

    That's never happened in Washington.

Well, that was my thinking. Why even bother. It's just a waste of government paper to print the thing.

    No one voted for it?

The fate of that budget was completely the result of political shenanigans.

Democrats in the Senate voted no for the president's budget proposal. Would you care to elaborate on the political shenanigans?
